ugh...

It stinks to not post for awhile and then be all full of sad news. Things in the Miller house have been off cilter and CRAZY! I am finishing up freezer meals for september, and the girls and I are going to swap at the end of the month. It will be FABULOUS when all is said and done. I'll have a total of about 20 meals and 4 dessets. YAY! It is a crazy couple of days of cooking, but it is MORE than worth it!

Johanna is ok. She has been struggling with some health problems that we can't quite put our finger on. She goes back to the doctor on Wednesday morning. If you think of her, we would appreciate your prayers.

Speaking of prayers- Awhile back I mentioned
this about friends of the family. Well, the cancer is back and agressive. The doctors said there are no more treatment options. Uncle Tom is home and deteriorating quickly. It is very difficult and sad for my family, but I cannot even imagine what his family is feeling. I don't know what all of your individual beliefs may be, but I ask that you please pray for him and his family (wife and three kids). I don't want to give out too much information, but I don't think that I need to. Even if you do not know the people and the needs specifically, God does.

My laptop is in the shop, so I don't have access to my pictures. I will try to post some new stuff soon- including some cute new pictures of Johanna putting my clothes on! She even got a pair of my underwear out of the hamper and put them on. It was kinda gross, but very funny!

I go back to work tomorrow (trainings this week and school starts next week). Quite a busy time!

One more thing- HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLOG!! This blog turned one recently. I will give an appropriate birthday post soon- I promise! Thanks for being with me throughout the past year. I hope you stick around for awhile :)

Sooo sorry to hear that about your friends. Tough stuff. I have prayed and will continue to do so. I totally can empathize. Can you send me their address when you get a sec? Just recalled while reading about your freezer meals - you asked me for the shlogen recipe, didn't you? If so, totally slipped my mind (clearly, as I'm not entirely sure you asked). Do you still need it? Keep us posted on Johanna. Talk to you soon.
